The Credit Suisse Today Art Award 2010 is sponsored by Credit Suisse, organized by Today Art Museum and supported by Oriental Art – Master magazine. Today Art Award does not emphasizing on any specific rigid aesthetic or ideological standard, instead, focusing on the core and value of art in order. The selection process of the artworks would not be limited to its medium. The award aims to grant to one artist annual, who is consistent in his/her artistic practice, eager to challenge traditional notions in art, and continues to push forward creatively in visual art and contemporary culture. As a way to inspire creativity, this award is open to all Chinese artists world wide.
